Upcoming Blues Event- Madison, Indiana

Postby Kurt (Indiana) » Mon Jul 31, 2006 5:59 pm

I just returned from the Toledo Blues festival and am looking forward to the next one at Madison, IN.

This is one of the better Blues festivals I've attended. It features, not only good music , but a Championship barbeque cook off, Balloon races and lots of fun and great atmosphere..
If you are in the area, you should come, you'll be impressed with this one. This is my favorite along with the one coming up in September at "Bean Blossom" , In.

They are both in the southern Indiana region and are both worth the trip. 8)

One of the things that reccomend the Bean Blossum event is the biker gathering held near by. The sight of the "Bib overall crowd" rubbing elbows with the "Biker babes" in Little Nashville has to be seen to be believed!

To quote Steve Martin:

"I don't like the blues. Too DEPRESSING!"
