This part is as we entered Texas. Stayed at Sea Rim State Park and hung in San Antonio to see the Missions.

Big Bend National was next to visit! Very BIG place, in Texas, how strange.. LOL

The was diverse is so many ways! Which made it so interesting. Terrain, vegetation and weather...

I go fishing every day on utube plus watch nacked farm tractors nacked combines and corn pickers..wink..and catch up on military history watch trains and take road trips all from the lazy boy..beats drama over on fleabook.. ..slow.

And then there was Marfa and the Mystery Lights!
Drove from Big Bend State Park, enjoyed the scenery and stayed at the Marfa Visitor Center to see the lights!

We moved onward the next morning towards New Mexico. We stopped in the Guadalupe Mountains National Park but did no stay due to high winds. The Visitor Center was very good and the Rangette was very informative and we had questions for her. She suggested Sunset Ridge BLM Campground closer to Carlsbad. Good advice! We liked the spot!

We made it to Carlsbad Caverns! If you haven't been, it's well worth visit. To say it's HUGE is stating it mildly.

I've also seen pictures of the cavern before and believe me when I say, none do it justice.. It just has to be seen. We were there mid January and weather was decent in the area.
In the cavern it's self, it maintains constant temp/humidity no matter what time of year.
