Some Wyoming sights worth seeing? Been there and did these: Take the east Y'stone exit to Cody for the firearms museum and the Buffalo Bill Museum. Bring swim trunks for a soak at Thermopolis hot springs. From there, south into the Wind River Reservation. For railroad buffs, Cheyenne has the Union Pacific museum.

The best way to see Wyoming is to get off of the interstate highways.
Stop at a visitors center or port of entry and pickup a WYDOT map.
Shows historical sites.
Most towns have museums.
Lots of sites from the Indian Wars.
Lots of history along the pioneer trails.
Casper has the National Historic Trails Center, Fort Caspar, and Veterans Museum and several other museums.
South Pass City where Esther Hobart Morris was appointed Justice of the Peace. First woman to hold public office in the country.
US highways 14a, 14 , and 16 over the Bighorn Mtns. are great drives.
14 fron Sheridan or 16 from Buffalo to Gillette .
Tours of open pit coal mines from Gillette.
Grey bull has the Museum of Flight and Aerial Firefighting.
Most any state highway is scenic
Green River has the Intergalactic Spaceport
Devils Tower as seen in Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Wyoming Whiskey Company in Kirby

Lots of areas with no cellular coverage and google earth can get you lost
