These pictures are up over the inside of the back barn doors.. adding a Marine stereo, CD, USB, system, (I had laying around) and made this speaker box for the rear speakers.

The front upper bulkhead area will house the front speakers.. along with cubby holes for what ever fits in there. The wood is repurposed pine planks.. Took some doing getting the two pieces together.. top piece is 5/8" thick and the bottom piece is 3/4", twisted, cracked, and bowed. Amazing what you can do with TB2 and a kreg jig joining wood together.

Holes for speakers and cubby openings cut and routed.. still a lot of sanding to take place.. then have to make the box behind each compartment and speakers.. compartment box will have a back inside to not show the metal taping in the corners..
Polyurethane will coat all raw material.. no stain.. to show off the natural grain of the wood being used..

When it's 98 degrees here, the Conex box shop I use will be 110 - 115 inside it. So, it's been so hot here lately that working process is not as fast as I would like it.. being older and have problems breathing, I work on it as I can and I take my time. I enjoy making what I can out of what I have..
I haven't used a tree trunk yet.. though there is a nice size cedar limb out in the yard the wind brought down, should be well seasoned, been dead for quite some time..
