Hey Mike we could use a printable T&TTT card

Postby halfdome, Danny » Thu Aug 03, 2006 10:10 pm

The little camping we have done in our tear we get questions on where did you get the kit or how did you know how to build one. Why not have a printable page on this form with several of the same business type cards that has the T&TTT logo, a brief description of the site, the website address with an invitation to join in building your own. Then any member could print up as many as desired to pass out. This would be most helpful when we get all these questions and would boost membership I'm sure. Danny

I have been getting HAMMERED at work lately, but I was going to do up a trifold brochure with a lot of the same site info, as a PDF members could print out.

Ira, That would be nice  . My idea would be like 20 little cards all the same & the size of a business card. They would take little ink and could be kept in your wallet for convenience & easy to remember where you put them, :D Danny

I thought about doing the same thing. Some small business cards with the "www.mikenchell.com/forums" at the top and then a blank line underneath to put your name or username on. I've often gotten the feeling that after you say, "Just Google T&TTT", they think you are a breast man. Maybe I have a guilty mind.

A brochure might make people think you are trying to sell a product and not a lifestyle.

Same thing here. On the way to the IRG I was asked about a half dozen times about buying/building a tear. I couldn't remember the url, so I printed out T&TTT and the words Teardrops & Tiny Travel Trailers on a slip of paper for each person and told them to google it.
I have a biz card program, but never thought to use it for tear stuff, 'til now...

Yep I printed up some cards too. I handed them out to the folks who came over at the rest stops, gas stations, fast food places, etc. It has is a line drawing of the trailer and my web address, that's it.

I wanted mine to be a little more involved, so instead of people asking me a million questions, I could hand them the brochure, with prominent web site information too. It would have a bit of the history of TDs too.

I already have some great TD artwork from some of you guys when I was working on Guy's brochure, which never came to fruition.

Right now, I'm working on a big brochure for my company in JAPANESE. Someone else (yes, a Japanese person) inputted the text, but I have to take it and lay it out with the artwork. Except I got no clue how to break the lines!

I'm ALREADY disgusted working on this thing, so between now and the end of next week, I'll try to steal 20 minutes here and there to get a TD brochure done.

As far as business cards go, you can buy the preperforated stock and run them through your home printer. I do it all the time at our office with our color laser printer.
Here we go again!

Thanks for this thread!! I have thought of having something small, less ink like a biz card, with my 'jewel' shape or the south central tears logo , and this website, plus my email address or whatever.

I like the wording on yours MJ..> Thanks! I'll steal it..

Ira,

Please keep us up to date on your effort!! It might be nice to have both your brochure, and a card handy.

My wife and I do traditional archery, and I'm anticipating teardropping to our events next summer.
