Looks like they will have to do more than just let the air out of the tiers to unstuck that one.

Now that is one way to make a low boy a ''LOW BOY''....I saw a guy run under a low railroad bridge near my house and peeled back the top of a trailer like a sardine can...not nearly as impressive as this...guess they didn't cover clearance heights at American Truck Driving School, or his dog ate his homework that day....   Doug

...he definetly sheared the king pin and possibly ripped off the skid plate as well...

I lived 2 blocks from an 11'6" underpass and it was hit almost weekly...it had at least one truck turnaround a day...sometimes several...this was in spite of 3 different LARGE signs as you approached the underpass...4-8 flashing lights at each as well as signage/lights on the underpass itself...it had been there close to forever and was listed in all 3 of the low underpass books that I had...proves that some people never look before they leap...

I got stuck behind one of these accidents once. A truck carrying a crane hit an overpass on I-75 near the FL GA border. We waited in 20miles of dead stopped traffic. Luckily I had made reservations at an el cheapo motel a little further up the road. When I came in, the lady just told the guy in front of me that they were booked up. When I came up to her she said, "I noticed that you had a FL area code. I figured that you were stuck in the traffic jam so I held the room for you." Thank God! because it made a terrible day a little more bearable.

I hate to think what they're gonna have to do to get that out.

If it were me, I wouldn't go cutting up that arm, which I think they will have to at some time, without having first built a temporary bridge pier next to it - I rather suspect the digger is now holding up the bridge, or at least I wouldn't bet my life that it wasn't.....
