The instructions on the back of the TV dinner said (I won't mention the brand because I don't want to embarrass Ms Callender) that at the 4 minute point, I should "rotate the steak clockwise one half turn". So, I gather one half a turn is 180 degrees (pi radians for my fellow engineers). But how does the steak know whether it was turned clockwise or counter-clockwise?

PS--Mick, if they have this particular brand down in your neck of the woods, I suppose they would have special southern hemisphere cooking directions saying you should turn it anti-clockwise.
