Rubber mounting habitat to chassis ?

Postby bictonboys » Tue Jun 18, 2024 3:47 am

I’m wondering how many camp trailer builders use rubber mounts to fix their camper ‘pods’ to their trailer? Most I have seen are built directly to the chassis . I am wondering which way to go with my build- any thoughts?

One reason is the cabin stiffens the trailer when built directly onto it (and vice versa). You can build both components lighter.

Yep. And I build off the frame and load it when it's nearly done. Working around the tongue and wheels will put you in an insane asylum.
