I've been catching up on old topics and stumbled across this one - it's been 2 yrs...did ya finish it or decide on another concept/design/trailer...? DJ

Hey nope I haven't built it yet, I actually bought a '61 Shasta Compact shortly after that (the red on in my signature) and I did a bunch of work on it then I bought a '76 Chevy Squarebody stepside and restored it and then I got a girlfriend which of course evaporated all my time. I also bought a '73 Sears AllState utility trailer (collectible item) to haul gear behind my van but lighter than the teardrop, then I redesigned the shower in my van which meant rebuilding the entire ceiling. I just sold the truck a month ago and then two weeks ago stumbled across the same kind of camper that I used to own as my 2021 Jayco 145RB except this one was half what I sold my old one for but in the same mint condition and as of literally yesterday, I finished doing all the major stuff I wanted to do to it (wheels, quiet AC and lots of customizing). Next, I need to built an interior cabinet for the Shasta and get it sold. I am alone again now so I have time so maybe THEN i will get back to the teardrop but for now I am happy with it just being a gear trailer. As you can see, I don't sit around much

Here is the new camper. 14 feet long 7 feet wide with a full bed, full kitchen, full dry bath and a dinette at only 2500 lbs.
