Door dilemma

I thought my doors were crooked, that is not the case. After using every straightedge around I have discovered its not the doors but the door frame. Do I use the same technique to distort the door as you would to straighten it? It is 3/16", it wouldn't bother me except it's not completely sealed. I'm not afraid to ruin the inside of the door.

After trying to climb through one door and out the other I discovered that if you lock the doors from the outside you can't unlock them from the inside. The door jambs are flush on the top and hinge side. They start to taper out after the handles and taper back in towards the hinge side. Just pushing the door in without locking the handle has the same result.When I cut and assembled the pieces I clamped them as mirror images. I must not have had them as flat as I thought.

The walls are made of 3 layers. The exterior side is 1/4" acx, the middle is 3/4" and the interior is 1/8".

My 2 hour commute gave me some time to think, maybe it's my building process. After reading through the door section in your book, I realized my mistake. The shims for my door latches were 3/4" plywood not 1/2" and 1/8". While the bottoms aren't totally flush, it's a lot better than before. The first picture shows how much thickness was taken out by the rod sticking out. I'm dumbfounded how something so small can make a huge difference.
