Cargo trailer jack failure. [emoji45]

While hooking up this morning my jack started getting hard to turn as usual.
I've lubed it recently and it'll usually clear it up.
As I was getting to the hard last 1/2" , it fell down . Luckily I was behind the jack and my feet were clear.
Pulled out the trucks scissor jack and got it back on the ball.
Wrapped a strap around just to keep it up incase while driving .
I think im under warranty still but don't want the same crap I have.

What are your suggestions to good dependable trailer jacks ?
Something with a grease zerk maybe.

Yikes! Do you know what brand yours is? We have one that looks just like it.

go to Tractor Supply and check out the "Ultimate Tongue Jack". seeing the frame you have in the picture, I am thinking you could use one - there is alot less cranking with one being the crank-shaft tube is an adjustable up/down 'slide tube' that you set/pin before raising it up/down. This also helps being when not in use it can be stored higher up away from the roadway when traveling, = no bottoming when going in/out of driveways thus damaging it. Have been using mine since 2018 and it still works great.
