Hey Mike we could use a printable T&TTT card

General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

Guys, when you use that template software, be careful the software # matches the paper you buy, and that you don't go with the wrong one:

There are two formats for these business cards. One has a gap down the center of the page where the two columns of cards meets, and the other doesn't. The latter one has the left and right columns exactly touching in the middle, and it perfs right there.

The FIRST one is the one you need for the kind of bleed shown in the above cards, the ones with a photo background. Otherwise, when you perf, it won't work because there's no way to perfectly align the paper when printing. If it's a solid tone background or white, it doesn't make a difference and you can use either.

Have I totally confused you?
Here we go again!

Would anyone happen to have the artwork in vector format? I've been looking for something to put on a keychain for myself and that looks great. Thanks.

I wonder how hard would it be to make one of those window sticker?

I would like to make one that says:

Wanna know more about T&TTT (Teardrop & Tiny Travel Trailers), then go to
http://tnttt.com/

and stick it in my back window of the car once i have my ttt built later. What do u think about that?

Might be useful for other people who r driving by on the road or elsewhere to find out where to get the info without having to stop by and ask about it.

sorry, i didn't know that there was a store here and i looked at the sticker. it is not like what I was thinking of. U know how some people like to mod their car and they have a big side to side windsheild sticker with word like "MUSTANG" or something along the top of it; what i want is similar to that, only I can put it on the bottom of my rear windshield.

I'll try to find a pic of a car that look like mine and try to figure out GIMP and put what I want on the picture to show u what I mean.

Many of the vinyl lettering and graphic stores do lettering decals on clear vinyl. If they can reverse the lettering, you can stick it on the inside and it will be readable from outside.

About the business card ideas, I have MS Office at work and noticed there is a template or something to do business cards.
I have MS Works at home , but not finding a template or whatever to do that. I have lots of cardstock and scrapbook paper that is heavier than printer paper and would save from buying the Avery stuff. I'm sure there something on the web to use to.

Julie,
If you go to the word-processor
Tools
Lables
Multi Entry
OK
it will give you several different Business cards. Haven't tried them because I use WordPerfect.

Hope it helps

I have handed out hundreds of cards in the last few years. I'm retired but still like to have a card to give out so people can get hold of me and no one ever seems to have a pen or something to write on. On the reverse I have the forum url. Remember that cards can be two sided. While towing or at car shows and campgrounds it is a quick and handy way to get the word out.

I've already made up a two-sided card for my plans. On the front, it has a picture of the TTT (1/4 of the card), A heading with the URL (1/4 of the card), and some features of the TTT (bottom half of the card). On the back are more detail descriptions, my email address, and the forum URL.

If anybody wants it, I made a sheet of them in Excel. Just print it up and cut it out. 1 sheet makes 10 cards approximately 2" X 3 1/4". Just PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you the file you can print out. You must have Excel for this file to work.
If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

That's how I made my cards...using Excel. Mine are 2" x 3 3/8". I buy large packs of card stock from Wally World to use for this and other printing projects (birthday carts, etc.).
