While I wanted to not do much more I realized that I need to have a place for basics that will live in the trailer. A place for shoes, toiletries, some food. So I want to add a cubby up front that will be flush with the door and will serve as a support for the bed in front. The previous owner put the batteries under the trailer behind the axle. Not sure of that reasoning, and I don’t think I like it. Maybe they wanted a cooler place for the batteries? Regardless I think they will be moved to the bench cubby or in one of the pockets under the bed. Still need to think on the water. I’d like a roof vent and maybe another egress window on the left side.
For now I think I want to use it and build and explore the world a bit. Once again this year looks busy but I will make time.
flboy: I’m plotting on how to get the motorcycle placed. I have literally the same winch you have. For now I can try to get the bike in forward to just use the trailer. But the bike needs to go in backwards if I want to do longer runs where I want to sleep at a gas station without taking out the bike. I can always unstrap it and get it to the side. This is where your setup with the smaller bed shines.
