They had a driver killed there this week, there's been 2 or 3 killed this week. Always sucks.

Should be a good race tho.

Rich,
Well at least there are two sprint car fans here...
My all-time favorite sprinter was Doug Wolfgang from Souix Falls, S.D.
This A-Main is kind boring compared to the B-Main earlier...
The Dude duked it out with his nephew for the final transfer spot into the Main and in between races, got into a fight with his Dad....
Dirt, 850 HP, Family Feuds... YAAA!

Congrats to Donny Schatz!... All those second place finishes will now be forgotten.

That race sucked! That track was terrible! Had to be slicker'n snot, looked like a sheet of glass.
I like to watch a race, the follow the leader stuff is boring.

You could say I'm a fan, I pit for one every Sat. nite. We broke a rocker arm tonite during the heat race, no spares and couldn't find one anywhere. Short nite.

Sorry about the early night...
Hopefully, you did get in early enough to watch the B Feature... They'll be talkin' about that for some time.
I'd like to be a fly on the wall on Thanksgiving at the Lasoski home this Fall...

Nope, just got home in time for the A.

You'll have nights like that tho, very little you can do.

Nice to see Shatz win one, first time is always the best. I'd have like to see Lasoski finish a little better tho.

I used to go watch the Outlaws when they hit Vegas. I haven't been for a few years, but that's REAL racing. OMG are they fast!

My cousin raced 1/4 mile dirt in the 70's with my dad as his sponsor. That's where I learned to weld.

Joanne,
My brother and I discovered the World of Outlaws by accident.
We went down to watch the San Jose Mile (AMA flat track bike race) and heard that these guys called the Outlaws were racing up at Baylands in Fremont on Saturday night. (The Mile wasn't until Sunday) We got there and I couldn't fiqure out what the big deal was with all these folks sitting in the grand stands, holding a chunk of plexiglass. Many kids had them all decked out with stickers and such. After the races started, I went out to the car and got a couple of big plastic trash bags and cut eye holes in them.

We were hooked!!!
We started going to Chico every year after that and ohh the stories I could tell...

Anybody wanting to make their teardrop into an Outlaw, we still have a couple wings in the garage but you might need a heavier rated axle. Too expensive when they get bent up at a thousand $'s a pop.
