No no no, when i said options i mean things like leather and heated seats. The side curtain air bags are standard on all VM models. I LOVE Hondas, but i have been driving Honda Civics for 10 years. I needed more head and leg room and i wanted something i had not owned before. The Beetle had everything i could have asked for. And they have a much larger engine than the Hondas plus it has slip control. If one wheel is slipping it will apply brakes to the wheels it needs to. (It takes a corner like its on rails.) One day i will find my self back in Oklahoma with the ice so i like that feature. Just being clear i am NOT talking crap about Hondas. I have had one civic that hit 238k miles, and my last one hit 247k miles. That last one i took all over the place. Mountains deserts rain snow ice cross country plenty of times and loaded with everything i owned when i moved to LA and Oklahoam twice. I gave that car a theme song. It was that I have been everywhere song by Johnny Cash. That song was very true to that car. I STILL see that car on the road here in the SouthBay. Broke my heart to sell it. But it was time.Gage wrote:Nic wrote:<snip> And have more options than most cars in its price range. Like side air bags, heated leather, LOTS of room in the front seats. Plus i have one. 'o)
You had to pay for your side air bags? Heck my 2006 Honda (cost less than $21,000) came with regular air bags, side air bags and curtain (for all side windows) air bags. News Flash. They came as standard equipment, not as an option.
Have a good day.
