I WANT ONE OF THOSE!!! How cool would that be for the daily cruise to work? You could park wherever you wanted. I would , of course, have to add a gun turret to discourage tailgaters and people who insist on cutting in front of you. What a great idea. A lightweight, RV tank.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Paint it yellow and put flashing red lights on top. It would be every school age kid's worst nightmare

Tom not would, it WAS! Back in the 50's and early 60's I had to ride those durned things!

In Cheboygan County Michigan*, school NEVER closed because the school system had a fleet of those things, and yes, yellow, with flashing red lights and all!

* tip of the lower peninsula, Cheboygan, Mackinaw City, Mighty Mac Bridge

Of course, it was irrelavent that we all had "bommers" that we would ride to school and race around the football field when ever school rarely closed... Then the school system went and did that to us!

I realize that if you have to ask "why?" you'll never understand. Must be a "guy thing"....

Used to. Moved to Cincinnati in 1969, and to be honest, I miss the 6 ft thick snow drifts... and my snowmobile (bommers)...
