celebrity thread #2

Postby sid » Thu Aug 24, 2006 2:51 pm

Okay, let's put a new twist on this topic.....

Who out there is related to a celebrity?

My uncle was George Morgan, the Grand Ole Opry star. "Candy Kisses", remember....? So yep, that makes Lorrie Morgan my first cousin.

He was my Mom's brother. Her and Dad are now living in Florida.

I have a celebrity living with me and that's all I'm going to say. So please don't ask.

Have a good day.

My brother's wife is related to Paavo Nurmi, also known as "The Flying Finn". I forgot exactly what the relationship is. But her maiden name is Nurmi and she did mention to me once that her family is related to the famous runner.

Sorry no "relations" but my favorite celeb rubs (I lived in Malibu for 7 years) were
- Pierce Brosnan knocked on my office door to introduce me to his "Mum." I had a '71 volkswagon bug at the time he had some bug stories (he owned one in his young days) and asked if he could sit in it for old times sake.

-Martin Sheen introducing himself at a meeting and me answering "I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!" and feeling bad about it.

James Bond sat in your car? How cool. Too bad he didn't drive at high speed into a brick wall and wreck it. Now that would be a story.

Introduced you to his mum. Bo--ring.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Does a relative's appearance on "Cops" qualify as a celebrity?
