Woohoo! Major progress and pics!

Postby jmtk » Thu Aug 24, 2006 10:43 pm

After 5 months of working in 2D, assembling sidewalls, doors, floor and ceiling flat on a workbench and stacking them against a wall in the garage or anywhere else I could find in the house (including our bedroom)...

I finally put all the pieces together! :P Here are a few pics with many more in my album. It's great seeing this project come together! Enjoy!

Must feel really good to be able to start putting it together, and the wait was worth it. Nice finish work and pure art on all those radius corners.

How are you finishing the outside--luumnum or woody?
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Jeanette that is one nice looking trailer. It is fun to make the leap from 2D into a 3D world of trailer building. Do you have a completion date in mind? You would always be welcome to come up and join us at the Idaho gathering on Sept. 22-24 at Redfish Lake, Idaho with or with out a finished trailer.

Keep up the good work. It's looking wonderfull!!
