i don't know why....
I had initially thought of that too. Just seems like it would look "right" when it's open. Not sure what it would look like with the hatch closed tho.

Personally, I carry a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take a butt kickin'.
I had the extending the trolley roof discussion with Grant too...maybe I'll draw it up and see...but I don't want the roof to extend to the point that the hatch can hit it when raising it...the galley layout won't allow gas shocks...and I don't want it to look too bulky...but do want windows in the sides..I can mock one up in cardboard on my trailer now and check it out...I think it might look better, but I also have a Fantastic fan hidden in the rear portion of it...and was trying to keep it as far forward as possible, so as to not get into the interior storage area with my venting...Like I say...it's not a for sure design...I've got some scrap plywood laying around...maybe I'll make up a profile and stick it on the tear...the rear end of the raised roof will have a louver type effect...sort of like an exhaust vent so you won't be able to look in and see the Fan. I'll post a pic later today...Doug
Here's what I'm thinking...check my album for other photos with the long version...pics with hatch up and down long and short versions...oh boy, compound curves...now this is going to be fun Doug
Doug, that is gonna be ever so cool....the long version looks moderately better but both look just bitchin'...save enough room for exhaust and go as long as you can....so cooooo-elllllllllll

John, I am trying to talk him into installing a propane exhaust system so he can blow flame about 10' behind him while going down the road...should get rid of tailgaters and would make a heck offa 3rd brakelight

thanks Scott...the front is going to be curved to a point...and only 6" high...I didn't want a poly window in it...I'm going to do some 3D treatments on the surface up front...but it's still up for debate...I'll just see what happens as I build...Doug
Rob....I'd love to have one a 59 would be better since I'm going to have those taillights on it......and the dog would be tough on the interior!!! Doug
