Well, let us know how you made out. You must not have power, I didn't see any new postings. Let us know you're OK. I'll be camping this weekend dealing with the noreaster that will be left of Ernesto.

Ernesto wimped out--and our stupid boss called everyone early this morning to come into the office today. I want to kill her:

The roads are empty, because the SMART people stayed home--since between now and TONIGHT is when we're going to get the squalls and the 40mph winds.

(And Stan--thanks for the nice PM! I appreciate it!)

Another near miss, another couple of hundred dollars in hurricane provisions, but after Wilma--I'm not complaining. The problem is going to be if we have a few more near misses like this. That makes you a little battle-weary and you don't prepare well for the REAL one.

So now, what am I going to do with all of that Budweiser?
Here we go again!

I'm telling you--and this is only a joke because I know some people here don't know when I'm joking--but I want to break this broad's neck.

My apologizes to the ladies here, but if my boss was a guy, I would call him an asshole.

I'm glad to hear that Ernesto didn't get ugly. All you folks down south have really taken a beating the last few years. You've all been in our hearts and prayers. I'm ever so thankful I haven't had to start over with nothing as so many have.

Ira, when I first heard that Ernesto might head your way I was worried that the Crab might take a beating. Glad you are in the clear. When I get angry is when our Carson City office gets a snow day during the winter but we don't get a day off when the temp gets up to 118 or so. It's not fair. Waaaaa!!

Dear All,

Glad Ernie was a dud! It is just starting to rain here, the first bands from the storm are just arriving. I decided to not work today, stayed home and made room in the garage for the car and the TD. Expecting 40 knot winds later this afternoon, that's not too bad, just enough to clean all the dead limbs out of the oak trees (I hope). Good luck fellow board members farther north.

Shoot, Steve, I just went outside to get the mail from the box, and the sun was shining. It comes and goes, along with a few sprinkles. I guess the rain will start later today. So far, all the wind we've had is a mild breeze. Right now, the local weather is showing 11 mph from the NE. The center of Ernesto should be less than 150 miles away right now, and we're hardly feeling any effects yet. But, I'm not complaining.

Crazy thing is that right NOW the winds and squalls are picking up here. Like, the dirty side is doing more to us than the rest of it.

Ira are you becoming sensitive  I really am joking and some women are broads. Making you go into work with all that food and Bud is just plain wrong.

Glad everyone is allright.
