MadJack and Dave,

I'm excited about it. However, don't know if I even have any party shoes anymore.

Anyway, there's enough of us coming from down South, we ought to get a caravan set up?

I like the idea, but I'm going to leave Corpus Thursday evening and try to be there early Friday afternoon. I'll be driving back on Monday.

It really would be a sight to see a string of theses coming down the road.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Now all we need is for Kai & Lois and Lenny & Joanne to come and it will be a Cedar Hill Reunion. Hopefully with less rain!

A question to local LA folks. I know we are going to have big fun here. But I have relatives that kinda want to come and lookie loo. Are there things around to keep them occupied while we are just hanging out enjoying being TDers. They are very frugal folks (half a paper towel is as good as a whole one any day), but might enjoy a cypress lake/nature tour or historic homes in the region-you know, that kind of thing.

So far pages I find on Shreveport make it sound like a nice place but not very different from any other town its size. Gambling is out they are very So. Baptist.

Thanks All
Mc

Mc, I am not real familiar with specific attractions and yes you are right Shreveport/Bossier are fairly common for towns their size. On the state park web site http://www.crt.state.la.us/parks/ibistino.aspx there are a couple of attractions that might interest them...Old Minden and Mt. Lebanon...I rather doubt in this day and time that Barksdale AFB (a SAC base) has any kinda tours but there may be a museum as well as a museum in downtown Shreveport....DAVE AND BARRY...if you read this your input would really be appreciated
