I keep getting email like this all the time.. is there anyway to prevent this?

Yes all the time. It is a scam,delete them. If anyone sorry enough to give them their social security #{states only},and other information, It can mean identity theft. My wife works for a police department,and files hundreds of cases of identity theft a year. Your social security # is on ALL of your important papers,and can be accessed online,personally,or computer hacked{free credit reports ring a bell} Even banks,and other accounts will never ask you for your social security # ,unless face to face. The less info you put on your computer ,also give hackers less to work with. Just don't make it easy for criminals. I send it back with a message that it has been forwarded to the FBI,CIA. It has gone from 10 a week to 1 a month now for me. Or set up an e-mail message block word list. Examples: financial,banking,money, Nigeria, etc. That seems to work
