Thank you for your comments Ed . It is large enough to carry my lawn chair , beach umbrella , small cooler , tools , fishing gear , picnic basket and air mattress .......D.J.

D.J. I have thought about the same thing when Teardropping camping to be able to biking up a trail and or fish. The perfect addition to Teardropping Camp-in.







Good job on the build of the trailer for the bike. I will be interested in seeing how you do your hitch and tongue for the trailer.

The bike mount is 1.5" angle iron cut up and welded . The connection on the end of the arm is a heim joint with spacers added for clearance .



The connecting arm attaches to the bottom of the trailer with three bolts . The arm is a piece of conduit with a hardwood dowel jammed in to one end to support the bolt holes and a nut brazed in at the other end for the heim joint .



I built it with an extension arm so I could fasten it at two points . I can't seem to take a good picture of the attached mount .

Thanks that helps with good pictures of detail. I did not know if you used the hitch at the axel or at the seat post. You gave me a good place to start. I have 26" wheels from an old bike as doner's

The motor is a 48cc made in China . Go to eBay and look under bicycle motor . This site will tell you all you want to know .

This is SWEET!

I took a baby stroller/trailer and modified it to use with my bike - took off all the canvas, built up the sides using PVC pipe and mesh. It's functional but not nearly as fashionable.

You're going to have a hard time finding a teeny tiny air conditioner to cool that unit. And it won't be too bad for sleeping, if you don't mind folding yourself into thirds!:lol:
