Boy, did I screw up!!!!

Postby Micro469 » Mon Oct 02, 2006 7:53 pm

I was working on the interior light and getting it centered when I noticed that it wasn't centered with the fan opening. I remeasured the fan opening and found that it is off center by about 1". AAARRRRGH! I don't know how that happened but I can't really fix it. If I try to move it, I run the risk of ruining the ceiling. I guess I'm going to leave it. If I'm lucky no one will notice.....(except for 2000 members of this forum...)

Everybody will know that you did it because it is biased toward the "Better Half's" side of the TD. Never waste your time trying to pass that off as a mistake...........

 Lets see! You think there are 2000 people who would notice an inch off center and not think it was intended? I better hide mine.

Micro,
I'll make you a deal. If I don"t make fun of your off center vent, you don't make fun of any of my multitude of mistakes when I start to build.

Don't worry, even if you did manage to center it, it would blow more on one side than the other. Take my air conditioner for example. That sucker is dead on centered but because of the way the squirrel fan blows, it blows more on the street side. I usually sleep on that side Mrs Flava complained that she was hot at night so we swapped last time out. Worked like a champ, I wasn't too cold and she wasn't too hot.

Hey John, I did the same thing to mine. I didn't notice it until i was putin the aluminum on. Its not real noticable if you stand back about 400 yards and look at from a certain angle  Don't worry about it, it will make no difference in the long run.............I hope

Don't worry.... be happy :D

And like I keep saying out loud while building mine " Only God can make something perfect!" :worship:

And reminding myself that this is just a camping trailer, it's not a five bedroom house . As long as it's built strong and right, I don't think anyone will rake you over the coals for that.

At least, I hope they don't look that close at mine!!!
