hi!
we finally bought our teardrop last sunday (july 29,2007) it is the silver shadow yoder toter. got it from missouri teardrops. dana is terrific. when there is a dealership nearby it is right to buy from the dealership and we did so.
very glad because we saw other models than we had planned on buying.
we are waiting for our trailer hitch to arrive tomorrow (wed., we bought last sunday!) hopefully can pick it up on saturday. we have a 31' vintage airstream we are parking at our camping resort in storage and they will spot for us when we want to camp. the teardrop is the one we can afford to tow - both monetarily and practically - we sold our 4x4 crew cab (GUZZLER) and got an HHR with a 1000lb tow limit.
anyway the airstream looks like a whale, so we thought the tear looked like a guppy. never named anything other than a dog and a son in my whole life, but "guppy" was it's name before we ever chose.

just came to me.
we still have the 3 sheets of very expensive 5x8 baltic birch (i think?) we got about 6 years ago to build our own. then "life" happened. *sigh*. but in the end we are finally bringing one home. so glad it is this beautiful WELL MADE by the amish "yoder toter"
