YEAH BABY !!! ! I'm pissed off and bummed that doors and hatch aren't secure to go to NM this weekend, and yet another mini vacation I had to back out on ! I'm sick of it !!!

So I'll be camping in this Jewel Box or #$*!Tear as soon as it's roadworthy and primed/painted ..... I'm eager to use it and not just work on it ! Actually, I'm sick of working on it ! hahaha

Julie, you have to name yours the Jewel Box. I already have claim to the name #$*#XX%@# teardrop!
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

We are going to stay until Monday and then head for home. We are both so excited ... cant wait. Besides the Chili for lunch on Saturday ... any special requests for Dutch Oven ... cobbler or anything. I LOVE COOKING !!!

If someone wants to cook a mountain man breakfast in my 16in DO lemme know. I can't wake up early enough for it to be considered breakfast so someone else would have to do it. Having been on a night shift for nearly 12years now, I keep my same sleep schedule.

Howdy from S. Texas

Postby TexstarBob » Fri Oct 06, 2006 12:05 pm

Hey guys & gals,
Just wanted to offer a quick hello from a couple of newbies from Friendswood, TX. We don't have a teardrop yet, but are definately hooked on the idea. We plan to make it to the LCG later this month to meet some new friends and to take in all the ideas and advice we can talk you out of. We are anxious to get started building.
