Hey Steve,

Can you give us a hint what the new design might look like?

I have been bouncing a million ideas around for my 1st teardrop. I just now came across the lil diner and realized this is exactly what I have been looking for.
Now the need for research.....

Not sure yet! Phyll and I are still in the need/want/design stage.
It will be a Teardrop. Done in wood, of course!

No need to research. Just buy Steve's.

The winning bidder on that is going to be happy. I do want to build my own however. But just a thought...... I will have to store my TD outside for a few years, should I be thinking of a metal skin?

Steve..... I like your work. There must be something in the water up in the Adirondacks that produces craftsmen.
I did notice something that also just occurred to me....... The lady in the pic which I assume is your wife is sitting on the seat cushion, which is on the floor...... Ok...... She looks like she is comfortable with the leg room. Just how deep is the floor well?

Nice work.

Thanks Wolf! She's my best friend! ;)
The floor recess is 8" deep. The seat is on a storage bin that is 6" deep, With the cushion, She's sitting at about 18"..

Steve, I'm curious about what you want/need beyond what you have. Are you talking shower/toilet/Serro Scotti?

Phyll struggles with dressing/undressing inside..wants a pottie...I know about "rooms", but, she wants it all inside!! You know, keep hunnie happy, and she'll keep campin'! Also I need to feed the building appetite! Everyone will benefit!! ;)

Steve,

Have you considered building a version of the Escape Hatch. In the back instead of a table you could have a bathroom. And you can always dress standing up inbetween the bathroom and the kitchen counter.

Say Steve, think Kampmaster. Here's a home built with a slide out.

Have a good day and good luck with your new adventure.

You mean something like a 'pop top' so you can stand in it. You know like those small caravans made in the UK. Or maybe incorporate a 'trolly top' type design into it.

Have a good day.
