Removable

I am interested in being able to remove a 4x8 cubby to utilize the trailer only. I know I read someone has done this and would like to see pics(if available) on how the floor of cubby is bolted to floor of trailer. Thanks in advance.

Here's a link to a thread with some disscusions on how to make a removeable cabin. Not sure if or how it got built though, I kinda fell off the boards for a while.

Bill, it seems that if you really want to deck out your Cubby real cool, with shelves, lamps, the galley stuff, you would have to make a heck of a lot of concessions to make it totally removeable.

People have done it, but like I said, there are a LOT of building details to consider.

If you really need a flatbed trailer, with the cheap cost of HF's folding model and a piece of plywood, you may be better off just getting that second trailer.

Thanks all. The expense of second trailer isn't the issue. The space for 2nd trailer is the issue. I live in one of those subdivisions that can't have trailers parked outside. Trying to find room for the cubby and 3 vehicles. Looks like one vehicle isn't going to make it in garage this winter!

My ? is this if you have the cabin off the trailer it's going to take up just as much space

Roly's 1/4 Nelson does in fact flip up and stand on end. You could do a bigger one that does the same thing with a come-a-long on the ceiling.

Should give you enough room for a small car too.
