The Stupidest Threads Ever Here

Postby Ira » Fri Oct 20, 2006 9:59 am

Some folks in another thread, who shall remain nameless, are trying to lay claim to MY title as author of the stupidest threads here.

HOW DARE THEY! AND I LAY DOWN THE CHALLENGE!

Look for THESE stupid threads of mine coming real soon, and let's see who can start STUPIDER ones!

(Can you tell it's Friday?)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"What color socks should I wear when installing my spars?"

"Which of these two pieces of trim is longer--the 4-foot one or the 6-foot one?"

"This can of varnish says stir well. Should I?"

"Does anyone know a good source to buy square wheels?"

"How do I install a door in my ceiling?"

"Has anyone made a functional TD completely out of Legos?"

"I haven't started my build yet, but I lost my hammer. Do you guys think I should buy another one?"

"I followed the plans exactly, but how come my TD won't fly?"

"Can you tow a TD with a 10-speed bicycle?"

"How do I make my wife do everything I tell her, including putting the asphalt emulsion on the underside of my floor?"

"Do you have to use sandpaper with an orbital sander?"

"Which aisle at HD has the stuff that they give you for free?"

"What's the difference between a nail and a screw?"

"Most of the packages say Phillips, but my name is Ira, so where do I find the screwdriver I'm supposed to use?"

"Is 25,000 BTUs enough to cool a TD?"

"Can Andrew draw me a cabin configuration that will sleep 8 people in a 4 by 8 Cubby?"

"Does building a TD increase penis size--because so far, I don't see or feel any difference."

Ira, I had answers for all your questions until I got to the one about making the wife do everything. Then I gave up. You win.

My vote goes to Ira for

Most entertaining thread ever

The story of "Larry Luan" and schlepping through the store is one of my favorites.

OMG...Let's don't go there again....PLEASE!!! I think that's been discussed, argued over, revised, killed, revived, too many times already. That's one subject has probably started more arguments than any other.

I don't remember any arguments:

I just remember everyone laughing at me--rightly so.

Ira, I started one or two of those threads I mentioned. That was long before you had ground wire questions. I never got so confused in my life on one subject. A couple of resident electricians (who will remain unnamed) differed in their opinions...nuff said...
