I saw this guestmap on someone elses blog.
http://www.bravenet.com/webtools/guestmap/index.php
It had a world map which could solve some people's location problem.

The bravenet guestmap services is pretty popular. You'll run across here and there.

I looked at the Bravenet Guestmap. I didn't like it because it didn't allow one to zoom.

The guestmap I have will zoom, plus it supports multiple maps. I just need the time to sit down and do it. This Friday is my last day of work till next year, so maybe next week I'll play with it...

The one I used allowed zoom though it didn't get as close as yours.

Yeah, sure, it's cool!

Man, you don't stop do you? We may need a Garage Cam pointed at your computer desk to keep up with all you do! :-)

Hmm, I wanted to put "Dave Nathanson & Louise" but I guess thats too many letters. Can you adjust it for me Mike? Maybe take out the 2 spaces around the "&" so "Loui" can be "Louise" again.

I'm the little cowboy hat near LA. I'm ok with the icon location.

Best,
Dave Nathanson

Thank you Mike for this forum. I love this place every body is so helpful and nice to us newcomers. I have already built 1 teardrop it looked like an egg with the side cut of.I have a few pics of it before it was finished. My brother-in-law now has it. I wish I had known about this site then I would not have been banging my head against the wall as much. there are so many good ideas here. I want to build another but can't make my mind up on what type. I see something that I like and then I see another that I like even more. my head is reeling from all the different styles. I am working on several different styles my self. And I still can't make my mind up. But I am just rambling now. I just wanted to thank you for all this. You are doing a great job keep it up :applause: :applause: :applause:

What to do if we move? I tried to remove my icon from San Antonio but could not figure out how. New one is up in Providence, RI.

Mike, if you remove my head from Texas please replace it with a heart.

I just tested the map. It works fine, albeit a bit slow. Everytime you zoom in it has to recalculate the positions of all the heads on the map.

It takes a while on broadband, I imagine it would take even longer on dialup. Be patient grasshopper... ;)
