well, the Jewel Box is in the driveway ..... foam mattress is in , and fits very snugly so I may have to trim a couple of inches off later! And a little taillight wiring fix , last minute tweaking ...
We're supposed to get some real rain later this afternoon -- I need to call the neighbor and ask him to throw a tarp over my jewel or I"ll just find out about leaks when I get home!!

then OH! pack the clothes and food and fun !! I'll be taking lots of pictures -- not because I'm building anymore, but because of getting to meet lots of new people and all the fun we're gonna have !!!!

I would post my latest pics, but they're on the camera... anywho--- LCG folks will get to see her first , even though not done !!

Ok....it's special to me but kinda plain looking. Just primer white on an 8' Cubby....

We're leaving at 6 am tomorrow !!!!! Heading to Paris, TX then Texarkana then Shreveport.
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

Julie, mine ain't finished either, farther along than yours, but ready enough to roll!

Nine hours and I start rolling. The trailer and truck are packed except for clothes, food, dog and driver. I am so ready for this!!! :D :D

Today is gonna be a long day, until 5:00, then the clock speeds up.

Everyone drive safely. Can't wait to meet the group. Those that can't make it will be with us in spirit. Now, let's go have some fun!

And thank you Madjack and Charles and everyone else who has worked so hard to make this possible. :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:

Let's see, I've got the beer, the fire wood, chili makins, beer, awning, table, clothes, beer, ice, chairs, SUV tent, other misc. groceries, propane, water....oh yea, some more beer and I'll be ready! :D

We'll be leaving early in the morning. Everyone have a safe trip and we'll see ya there tomorrow afternoon. (May be a little late because we have to stop and get more beer)

Tony, if you mooch a beer, you better mooch two! So I can mooch one from you.

I'm sure there will be plenty of beer sharing going on.

Can you pick me up some beer? Or maybe some Miller Lite? Or Corona's are fine or Michelob.... IF you don't get Corona, I wouldn't mind Bud Light or better yet Dos Equix (sp?) .... after all , we'll have limes.,...

OH ! and can anyone bring a little beer for the weekend? I don't drink a lot but on second thought, I might wanna have a beer or two.

Oh and I know WarPony and Anna might want some or bring some ....

We're gonna need a bigger BEER!

I was all set to be there today, but ended up having to work.
The flooding last week wiped out a dozen of my study sites, so I'm working triple time to get them up and running for the winter surveys. :?

I'm planning to leave EARLY in the morning, so hopefully I'll see you all around 9am! After reading the last few posts, I may need to stop and grab more beer (and woodchuck!) to share...I have plenty of tequila to go around, LOL! 8)

Everyone have safe travels!
