Well the Moose is preparing for its visit to the Punkin Chuckin we will be staying at a Delware State Park - Trap lake. Seems that they have 2 Yurts for rent.

Seems pretty reasonable.

Yurts are cool.
I was inside one constructed out of plywood many years ago and have liked them ever since.

By the way:

Awhile back, I promised to scan and make available the yurt book that I bought off eBay, for use as a side tent on a tear. But after getting the book, I then saw and remembered that this book was for a PERMANENT yurt.

Not a yurt that you could pack up and move around like the Mongolians did/do.
Here we go again!

Go ahead and post it...the idea is the same, just diff construction techniques. I am sure there are several of us interested!

Go ahead and build one in your yard and park your truck in it!

I just gotta get me a Fred Sanford Truck and come visit you!!

I have a book called "Home Work- Handbuilt shelter" which has a very simple plan of how to make one but they look fascinating
