Same thing here, SteveT ! My first overnight campout at LCG, my 5x8 tear only has 1/4" walls to help with weight, so I used 3/4" foam board insulation in the walls and 3/4" plus 1/2" in the ceiling to fill space .

It was pretty chilly at midnight, crawled in and tapped open the ceiling vent but was cozy under just a flannel sheet and one blankey !!!

HAPPY !!! and stayed plenty warm. Also , never heard any cars, etc.

It got down that low? I had the top vent cracked and one of the side windows cracked but I got hot. I ended up opening the vent all the way and cracked both the windows the second night. It's cold when you first get in but it warms up. Thing this time was that there wasn't much wind, which is important.

Hmm I didn't know it got that cold.

We were very comfortable also...just one blanket, the windows open about 2", the top vent open just a little, and no heater. However, we only have insulation in the roof...the walls are 3/4" plywood. I think the insulated walls may make a significant difference in really cold weather.

Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant"is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist ".
