For that? Hell, I've seen worse in Readers Digest.

Now if'n you maybe started a bordello in your house....then the possibility could be good. On the other hand maybe that's what they need in that neighborhood, might lighten them up a little bit.

Maybe as the father of 10 & 12 year olds I don't get the "humor" of a 12 year old losing her viginity to an 18 year old......

I'm gonna be changing that to 15, which although not an appealing thought to a father of young girls, it's still pretty realistic these days for a lot of kids.

 Lets remember Ira lives in a state where it is legal for a 12 year old to "loose thier virginity" to a person of any age, as long as it isn't a Priest, School Teacher or Politician.

Ira, is the second page about sex or something else?

Realistic or not, your are treading on some thin ice. If you have to explain the humor, it's just not funny. Just ask John Kerry, Jim Webb, George Allen, Harold Ford or Bob Corker.

Some subjects are just too incendiary to make fun off, and when you combine racism, clasism and underage sex in one article, well, I don't get the humor.

Maybe I'm just a midwestern fuddy duddy living in Northern California that doesn't get the south beach humor.

I didn't feel it necessary to explain the humor:

You expressed the need to have it explained to you.

You don't get a free copy.

Ira,

In regard to your question. Yup, they will probably try to run you out of town, right after the tar and the feathers. Some people just don't respect or recognize literary genius. As hard as it is for some people to grasp, 12 years old was probably right on the money. I know that girl, her parents, and her 2 children, she is 14 now. The girls dad sells pot and is a beer-tender at a beach bar, the mom cleans beach front condos when she's not high on crack. It was worth the effort to make my computer screen 640 X 480 so I could read the text, I can't wait to see page 46. You da man! :applause:

PS - would gladly accept writing assignments centered on pissing off the maximum number of people with the least amout of words. :D

Hell, I didn't know they moved to Florida!! They used to live right down the road. Tell 'em I said hi next time you see 'em.

Some may not find that story humorous (personally I do) but it is more the norm than most people want to believe. And it's an ooold story too.

Don't worry I'll be sure to read your sorry rag even if we can't get your politics straightened around!!! I think it'll be a howl. Besides the world is just waiting for the next great literary work.

Tar Feather

Postby sdtripper2 » Fri Nov 03, 2006 12:22 am

Ira:

I been holding off on posting here for 2 days. Now that Steve Cox opened the
gates on what I had created for a post I will share my thoughts here now as well.

As a percussion be sure your shoes
are tied and you have stretched, ready to run.

Depending how this story ends,
It is said there is a strong smell
of roofing tar in the air near your home.

Also there has been an uPtick in break-ins
where pillows are the only thing being stolen.

Ira: I for one would defend your right of free speech,
however human nature can cause parental insensibility's
to run amuck when they would read your graphic written
expression as it relates to a minor.

Ira: You are hitting on all cylinders of a subject that can burn you.
Many will not see the humor as Elumia has suggested.

Be prepared to defend your borderline wit that most parents will find
extremely offensive.

Now ... back to reality.... I want to read your rag~ ! 8)

Allrighttttttt. Does this mean I get a free copy. 8) I'll let you read mine if you let me read yours. 8)

If this is about gross teenage sloppy sex I'm gonna barf. If it is about Coral Springs giving up what is precious you could probably start it in a way as not to shock quite so badly.

Try the last 16 instead

Ira...if it were me...I wouldn't sweat the content...the fact of the matter is that most people don't actually sit down and read anymore, whether it be a "rag" like yours or a classic novel, anyway.... there will always be those of us that appreciate an offbeat sense of humor in written form...Everyone should take a good look at the video games, hit comedians, any of the music videos, or for that matter, the fashions that the high school, let alone the junior high kids are wearing nowadays, piercings, tattoos, bare midriffs etc..when did a plumbers crack on a 16 yr. old girl become hot? I've been sporting it for years!!!...If that's what they are wearing now, what are the hookers wearing this year? With that all taken into account...this is pretty tame, as you actually have to pick it up and read it, requires understanding of the english language and an actual willingness to sit down and read. It's not intended for kids, as the Onion isn't either. Kind of a Simpsons, South Park, insert any cutting edge cartoon name here, magazine for a more sophisticated reader....Doug

Yo!!! When wasn't it. Thats the reason my mom didn't want us wearing hip hugger bells or string bathing suits. That was the late 60's. (we got boy jeans cause they were cut lower.) ;)

I getya Doug and you are right about reading and humor but the last 16 year old virgin and a 50 year politician.........Ok too real.
