I don't understand your posting. If your talking about my post. All I said was I haven't seen a teardrop more beautifull than Doug's. Or are you talking about someone else's post? I'm confused. Everyones build in thier eyes is best.

By the way, my room add on is 6' at the high point and has 6" extra matl. to stuff under the polls.

I couldn't agree more. We are extremely happy with ours too. What I don't understand is why is Chris C the only "Teardrop Artist"? There are many of so called "Teardrop Artists" here just look at the "Hall of Fame".

My TD and Chris' TD are of the similar profile. I like his better than mine based on the views in his album. Side by side his would be the best. Does it matter to me? No. I am secure enough to recognize quality work by someone else. Some have different ways to compliment. There are some potstirrers that have difficulty giving a pat on the back without slapping them in the back of the head too!

Danny,
I'm the one that changed Chris C's title to Teardrop Artist, I made the change after viewing his slide show this morning because I wanted it to reflect the impression his trailer made on me. I see no reason for this to be taken as a slight against any other of the fine teardrop builders on this forum and I assure you that was not my intention when I posted the title. Chris didn't request the change and he most likely knows nothing about it being changed. I couldn't agree with you more that there are numerous "Teardrop Artists" on this forum, yourself included. If you want that title as well or something similar, it can be arranged. Just let one of us Admins know, we'll be glad to accomodate you.

Chris:

My first reaction...'Honey...you gotta see this!!!' Tracy and I both agree; you hit the mark. Form follows function; the attention to detail, usefulness in design, quality in craftmanship ...we're at a loss for words!!

The finished product; I could stand and stare at it for hours!!

Thank You; for sharing this with all of us!!

The bad thing about removing threads that have gone awry instead of locking them, is how it alters history. Seems everyone that has posted here except for Gage and myself either choose to forget, can't remember, or never knew the events leading to Chris' departure. Oh yeah, nice TD, wouldn't have expected anything less. You have contradicted yourself by returning, is it due to your desire for one of these? Sorry, no one of these  from me.

My CRS has nothng to do with my choosing to recognise a beautiful teardrop for what it is, art. There are a lot of us who would like for things to have gone differently. Some of us even got our tender touchys hurt. I chose to be a big girl and let it go.

Those threads were a black eye to the forum and didn't reflect to normal day to day behavior of most of it's members. They were best left to the garbage.

Gonna be a piece maker some day. :
If you'alls Teardrops are hacks then I guess I'll just call mine Patches.

Disclaimer: Although I stand in awe of just about everyones build. Well, I'm still deciding about Ira's. The one that really grabbed my eye, and convinced me that I would like to build, was Gage's Scottsman HB.

After that said, OH MY GOSH! Nice build Chris! hope you get miles and miles of enjoyment from it... and I hope my build is half that nice...

ok.. IRA I like yours too.. JK above...

Each and Everyone of you have great Teardrops there.. That have their own characteristics and features.. Plus all the great gatherings..

Here we only have the one.. And thats mine being slowly built..The next closest is Meelis or Pedaal South of us in Estonia..

So what I mean is that for me it would be such a great event in my life to see these beautifully built teardrops up close and live..no matter who they belong to..

It would be so awesome... The names of the folks Id like to meet with their teardrops are endless..

In my eyes all of them are unique.. and there are so many models to choose from... Its food for the eye...

Thats my reply realistically speaking...
