How Is Your Gas Today?

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Ira valero is a San Antonio based company. All I am going to say is that I don't buy gas there. Also it is the highest priced gas around here in San Antonio.

Isn't that weird?

They just opened right across from the Citgo I was talking which has it at $2.12, and they got it for $2.11.

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THESE COMPANIES?

It's gotta be tax thing, depending on which state.
Here we go again!

Ira, valero is good about that they under cut the other guys prices then after awhile when they build some customer loyalty, they slowly raise the prices. I guess they figure when people get used to getting gas there they will just assume it is cheaper than the others and they wont notice the difference. Don't be suprised if you see regular gas for a really good price and the higher grade gas at higher than normal prices, but the regular gas pumps will be out of order.

After reading on GasWatch...wed is usually the day that prices change, up or down.
Good place to check out prices near you or going somewhere. http://www.gaspricewatch.com
Verona, VA is at $1.89. Vegas $3.35.

I run diesel in my truck & Odies VW, it just jumped $0.06 today. It's currently $2.65, but regular gas is only $2.13. Sure miss the old days when diesel was cheaper than gas!

Luckily I just got one of my old Bugs back on the road, it should be a little cheaper to fuel than my F250 4X4.

Up a nickel here since Tuesday. It went up about 9 p.m. Tuesday night all over Lubbock.

It's lots cheaper around Lake Fork, eh?
Y'all have better weather most of the year, too (had our "hard freeze" this week). Good thing girls' and womens' basketball's starting or I'd have nothing to do but gripe.
