
The frame:

This is my finalized design. Goal is to be somewhat quick and lightweight to build. I estimate ~400lbs finished weight. As much as I want this to be a woody tear, it looks like I'll be doing myself a favor by painting it and finishing the inside nicely.
The frame is probably overkill, but the weight it adds is reassurance to me that it'll last on some of the rough country roads I plan to travel.
I'll be picking up my plywood and steel sometime next week. Hopefully making the first cuts next weekend.
