2nd New Tear In the Making - The Karelia

Postby Classic Finn » Mon Nov 20, 2006 2:45 pm

Well folks its time for planning somthing new during the long cold winter nights...Here is the 2nd New "Karelia" Woodie

Image

Im going to order parts lil by lil....somthing totally different... 8) 8) 8) Yes A Woodie.. :D The word Woodie has been knocking in my head for a longtime now and I couldnt take it no more... I have to make it reality..what a shame

Ive got me some real nice wide white wall Cokers since I luv them.....on order... Also Ive got the wheels on the way...

Here are the Wheels and tires...

Bolt Pattern: 5X4 1/2
Image

P205/75R14 American Classic 2 1/2 Whitewall

Image

These are Lil Bear 9" fenders but I dont know if they are 2 narrow? Or Would it be better to go with 11"

Image

These are also 9"

Image

The frame is already made from a huge utility trailer maker nearby...
except the decision has to be made as to a 4 or 5 foot wide...

and the trailer frame will come from here...however most likely will be powder painted...

Can't wait to see your plan. Should look pretty retro, which is always good. I'm getting close to being done on my first one so I will start making my second if the wife won't leave me if I do.
