I am an old fart and have a tendancy to forget stuff pretty fast.
I have a stainless steel piano hinge currently installed on my Tiny. It is in between the body and the hatch and is folded when the hatch is closed. I have a rubber strip glued to the up-wind side that covers the opening well moving or not. It has a tendancy to leak when the hatch is open or if parked down hill.
I would mount a plastic hinge in the same manner (sandwitched between when closed) Anyone tried that? I think if I sealed it well with silicon on each side it would be waterproof without the rubber cover (which is black on a white body) They even have a white plastic hinge.
Any and all remarks will be welcome and appreciated.
