modify a trailer

So any one near the SC/NC coast could help me add a rear hatch lid on this bad boy, I want to be able to load my ElectraGlide inside.... Or would I risk bodily injury from the purist

That sure looks like an expensive way to get a Harley hauler, I'm sure you could build something far cheaper without the need to modify that trailer.

vetteman... There are any number of people on this forum that could modify that trailer for you, including me. But, I agree with Kevin... You could prolly get a custom Harley hauler/travel trailer built for less than what a vintage restored Boles-Aero Miramar is worth. And, of course, you wouldn't have to put up with the purists that were aghast at what you had done to an antique trailer. For that matter, quite a few people have just modified a new cargo trailer with camping facilities in the front and Harley in the back without spending big bucks. If it were me and I could get that fine old trailer at a bargain... I think I'd still just polish it up and sell it to an enthusiast for a nice profit and go have a custom one built.

My opinion is .... I wouldnt go and destroy the looks of that... noooooo way.. but thats just me.. I think it would drop its value for certain...I dont like choppin nor droppin old cars or trucks for that matter.

Isn't it possible that structurally, it might be impossible to do?

I know nothing is impossible (except me finishing my TD), but doesn't it seem like it could be a little dangerous? Especially hauling a Harley in it?
