Yes you do, I am just trying to brainstorm hoping an idea will catch on. You want a "catchy" name so people will look at what you have to offer. You could always name it after you teardrop or use your handle... Classic Finn. We have a store in Oregon called GI Joes, what do youthink they sell.....they are a large outdoor adventure supply store....hunting, fishing, camping, bicycling, boating. They do not sell large ticket items - I have seen them, though they could order them for you.

Hope I am correct in what you are thinking

Yes I do understand fully... and also I know you are thinking what Im thinking....

But what the hell are you talking about?

Until you reply though, I have always found that the word "Sex" attracts a lot of attention in marketing.

Ok Ira if you were to attract tourists to your company .... such as Enjoy

Maybe you can blend some things to come up Finnglish. I'm often attracted to words describing local place names or rivers (Kemijoki Kamp, Oulujoki Run), geographic features ( Baltic Landing), or something I just find irresistable (Koskenkorba Creations)

Dave are you from Finland?    We do have our main highway here as The Kings Road or Kings Highway.....named after the Route from Stockholm - Helsinki - To Vyborg (St. Peterburg).

The King's Road began in the 14th century as a mail coach route between the cities of Oslo and Stockholm, Sweden; Turku & Helsinki, Finland and St. Petersburg, Russia . Today, the King's Road is a tourist route and usually incorporates a trip to Moscow. The route can involve air, train, and cruise ship transportation in this beautiful island-dotted coastal area surrounding the Baltic Sea.

By the way folks the word "Joki" is River in English... ;) These rivers are named after the Cities of Kemi and Oulu which are located northwestern
parts of Finland...

Dave if you check TenoJoki - Great Salmon and Trout Fishing there...check photo..This photo we took 2 summers ago.. Looking from the Finnish side across to Norway..excellent for campin there...Ohh and eye catching with a Teardrop...There is a Norwegian Farm in the Valley there..Can you imagine owning that ... Salmon and Trout fishing in your back yard....

Thats what I was trying to explain in the beginning of this thread... Words describing the photo or the scene...

Heikki:

I understand you want your web page to have a name that will be easily
found by browsers so you will get more hits on your business web site.

Your Title as it is called is important as a key word for the spiders aka
browsers to find your page, but also the index page could have a
<meta name="keywords" string of words that will
describe your web site in more detail and bring the spider browsers to your site.
I will give you 3 examples of web pages with <meta
name="keywords"
strings so you will know what you are looking for
and then you can find the pages on the web that best shows what you want
to sell and copy those keywords in the <meta
name="keywords"
string to flesh out your new site with words that
will draw the browser seaches to your door step of the new web site.

NOTE: These Keywords are used by the browser to choose to come to your
web page so they can be important for traffic.

See below URL's for more on helping Google find your web site:

Goal = When a google search is preformed Heikki's website comes into view as one of the selections:

Use the three examples to see what keywords your <meta name="keywords" code on your index page could be:

Do these examples to see the code that has the Keywords that you will find
on the web pages of your choice later on:

First:
Go find some websites you really like that are close to what you want for your site.
Example:
Austin Hardware & Supply, Inc.
Click on this link first: http://www.austinhardware.com/default.asp?

Second:
Follow these clicks second:
Go to the top of your browser Click “View”
& “Click Page Source
(In Firefox) or Source (In IE)
You will be looking at the bones of the main web page.
Now find the TITLE Tag and just below that you will see a line called
<meta name=”keywords”

Beyond that <meta name=”keywords” WILL BE ALL THE KEYWORDS THAT THE
SPIDERS AND SEARCH ENGINES LOOK TO FIND THIS PAGE >

Example:
For the Austin Hardware & Supply, Inc main index page key words:
<meta name="keywords" content="austin hardware, hardware, industrial hardware, southco, de-sta-co, drawer, hinges, pulls, drawer pulls, drawer slides, piano hinges, continuous hinges, catches, forgings, locks, gas springs, handles, tie downs, zip ties, cables ties, cargo control, weatherstriping, fasteners, clamps, latches, door holder, checks, screws, toggle, welding, forging, vent, vents, paddle locks, paddle, locks, grab handles, lock cylinders, aluminum castings, extrusions, sealants, adhesives, fasteners, fastening tools, stainless steel, brass plated, Securing solutions,">

Try free associating with these:
Wheels of the Nordic Gods, Net of Ice, Scales of Ice, River of Midnight Summer, Prism of the Nordic Sun, Tears of Odin or Thor or somebody or someplace, Aurora Finlandia, Fish Finland, Fins of Finland, Hike with Heikki, Reel Inn

Maybe something will jiggle an idea. I had a business and getting the perfect name took weeks, or more.
