Glue story: Gorilla Glue

Just wanted to make sure any pet owners out there were aware of the dangers of Gorilla Glue. As an animal doc, I've dealt with a few cases of dogs who chewed on a Gorilla Glue bottle and ingested a small amount of it. Dogs seem to like the taste of it. The darn stuff expands 100 times in the warm, wet environment of their stomachs and requires emergency surgery to remove. Many of these dogs die, even with surgery. Can't beat the PL-400 that Kurt recommended to me. The Tightbond III also works great but the PL-400 is much better when applying it upside down ot vertically as it does not run or drip. The Gorilla Glue works good in places I already had polyurathaned and wanted glue to stick. Like everything else there is no one thing that satisfies all needs.

Great advice as I never considered anyone would ingest it. But I didn't think about pets.
