They where not to bad. I owned 3 of them. In a dryer country they be nice. it seamed like every time I went to set up mine it be pour down raining and I be soaked by the time I was finish set up to where I could get in. If anyone get one of those make sure you check out the plastic sides reall good. They did break easy. I think they got brittle over time. I enjoyed mine while I had them. The parts are hard to get now. The most important part would be the crank up gears.

My son has one just like that and he is not that happy with it but paid a lot less than $600.
That guy is dreaming if he thinks it's worth that much. :) Danny

78 apache

Postby Randy G » Thu Dec 28, 2006 8:31 pm

I bought a 1976 apache this summer and used it acouple times.
A coworker made me a deal I couldnt refuse.
Lots of room but gotta tell when setting the thing up I was sure
thinking I cant wait to get the tear built. They take awhile to get
set up cuz they have to be really level and pray the cable or gear
box dont break when lifting the top. I think Ill keep in case I need
lots of room, not sure why tho.

I agree it's not there now. Heikki and Gage, have you tried clearing your cache - I wonder if you're looking at a saved page?
