John, you didn't say what your wife likes. She isn't in to camping so what is she into, or was before the work took over.

Lynn I personally would love it if someone came and cleaned my house inside out. They could throw away my junk too. I bet Mike would like that for a gift too. Maybe he'd like a day spa. Not for me.

I'm going for money. That's how I got my stash going last year.

Like maybe some special pots and pans and a recipe book for cooking dolphin?

One of our students (energy healing) did her year 4 paper on the healing effects of swimming with dolphins. Like a REAL paper/thesis. Seems that energetically, dolphins are the equivalent of the hydrogen bomb, and that there is literally a physical effect of swimming with them.

They're friendly with humans, but the big myth was basically busted when it was recently observed that they sometimes kill their own young--just for the fun of it. They basically play volleyball with the kid.

But I really shouldn't say just for the fun of it--chances are there's a good reason they do this.

Perhaps they sense something in the young that will pass on and endanger the whole population.

Ira I read something about swimming with Dolphins. Seems that people who have learning disabilities are positively effected by close contact. I remember thinking my son would really enjoy the swim and he is dyslexic. Don't think the reasearch was followed up on or continued.

Careful it isn't a cure for Teardrop Compulsive Disassociative Disorder. YOu could end up normal and where is the fun in that.

You can't go wrong with a trip to a day spa. A massage, a facial, a pedicure etc. You can choose the $$$. My daughter works at a day spa and they sell lots of gift cards to men before Christmas.
Now me personally, Charles can't go wrong with a drill press, cordless drill, dolly, wagon, ez up canopy, I think I"m easy to buy for. I got a hammer and a set of 10 screwdrivers and a set of 3 pliers in my stocking last year. (I think that was a hint to stay out of his shop and to quit "borrowing" things)

As already suggested having someone come in and clean the house from top to bottom is a wonderful idea also. I cleaned a friends house just before Christmas 3 years ago and called to see if everything was ok and she said the house was great and she was laying in bed watching a movie. She said she had not done that in a long time.....

We did the dolphin swim yesterday. It was pretty cool but not long enough. You got to feed, rub, and swim with them for brief moments. Here is yours truly swimming with Dexter the dolphin.

What a wonderful picture. I have wanted to swim with dolphins for a long time, too. How did it make you feel? It's supposed to be very calming and relaxing. Did your wife enjoy it?
