Had to take it for a ride.

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Had to take it for a ride.

:D It was nice and sunny today so I HAD to take my kawasaki out for a ride. While I was out I had to get some warm gloves since it was around 30 degrees out. Brisk but worth it. My cheeks are still frozen. Wooo hooo. Thanks for listening.

Kevin, It's too cold in my garage to even put a second coat of epoxy on the tear and you're out ridin'. You're crazy. At least it's not snowing and 70 MPH winds anymore.

I was thinking about getting a small bike--an old used Honda Rebel--just before I discovered TDs, so I put the money into that instead.

I still want one, especially down here where you can basically ride them all the time, but I'm still afraid.

Just worried too much about some old New York Jewish lady in a Caddy not seeing me and cutting me off.
Here we go again!

Thanks Dave.

Bledsoe: Yep it was cold as a son of a gun. But I still had a smile going. Weird eh? It is another such day today. Cold but sunny. I might just have to do it again since I forgot how the cold felt already.

Ira: Yeah, you have to watch out all the time. I just figure that people are not going to see me and figure that in to my attention level. I got a good deal on my bike. Someone let it sit in their garage since the late 1970's. They only wanted a couple of hundred for it since it was not starting etc. I put in new gas, plugs, carbcleaner, and oil and kickstarted it. It ran crappy for a few times around the block but after a tank of gas it was running smooooooth. It only had 11k miles on it but now has 2k more since I have had it. :applause:  :applause:
:woohoo:
You can find good deals out there. But remember to watch out for the numbskulls out there when riding.

My Roadglide gets out of the garage as often as practical… If it’s not raining its practical. 8)
The bike has lowers and an extra tall windshield and I live in sunny Calf...
It was about 34 when I pulled out this morning. :snowstorm:

Many miles and many tears. Times were hard but now they're changing.
You should know that I'm not afraid.

I took My Cushman Eagle & Salsbury out yesterday; even though it was about 35- 40 degrees out. :snowstorm: My friends think I'm crazy ( Maybe just a little) but you just can't beat the feeling you get from a good ride!
Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Ask yourself these simple questions every time you are in doubt about any action.
