Where does the MidWest end and the East take over? Or is it MidEast? :thinking:

According to Farmers Almanac, area 2 is the midwest... So the answer is, "The Ohio River".

Now looking at that map, I'd say #4 & #5 is MidWest or if your on the West Coast then 4 & 5 would be Mid East. :?

Here are the names per the Farmers Almanac

1 Northeastern • 2 Great Lakes/Midwest
3 Southeastern • 4 North Central • 5 South Central
6 Northwestern • 7 Southwestern
Alaska • Hawaii

I've never been able to figure out how IL is anything-west. I guess the farmer that wrote the almanac most have been on the east coast.

gage, here is a more defined map of the country from the Farmer's Almanac. It doesn't even show "Midwest". It shows "Upper Midwest" although. :thinking: :oops: :o Now I'm really confused
