What an unbelievable game!!!
The high-low emotions... Zabransky throws what looks to be a game losing interception returned for a score by Oklahoma after they trailed the entire game, only to get it back for one last drive and on fourth and eighteen Boise State thows a hitch and go lateral for a touchdown to send the game into overtime.
The most impressevive play though, was in overtime. Boise State matched Oklahoma's OT TD, but decided to go for two and win the game. They did it with the best executed statue of liberty play in the history of football!!! Who'd ever thunk it??? (Obviously 1st year coach Peterson did)
Without a doubt, the best football game ever played as Boise State showed the country that they can hang with the big dogs. It's not the size of the dog in the fight... It's the size of the fight in the dog.
This has got to be the biggest thing to hit Idaho since the potato.
Go Boise State!!! :applause:
If you didn't watch this game, you gotta catch the highlights... 'cause they will be talking about this one for quite a while.

Okay, I'm a Sooner fan... one of the reasons my Jewel box is being painted in crimson and cream..... I was up sooooo late watching that game, on my feet  me & a friend on the phone during the whole end and overtime..... :x

But I have to say, Boise St played a great game... they deserved it and the proposal at the end was so sweet !!!!!

BOOMER SOONER !!!

I went to bed as soon as the game ended. What proposal? Wha'd I miss?
I do think that was the most exciting bowl game I've ever seen. I almost missed it because of the time frame. The Rose bowl was boring, as was the other games on yesterday. I just couldn't stay with them.

Johnson, from Boise St that ran in that winning final TD ... he was being interviewed right after the game officially ended and the cheerleader was there standing next to him... he still had his helmet in his hand, all pumped and sweaty... I didn't know if she was his girlfriend or just trying to get on camera... I didn't hear what he said but then he backed up and went down on one knee... she apparently said yes and he stood up , she literally jumped up in his arms... it was sooooo sweet !!!!!

i'm sure it'll be on youtube.com or something.

I am a graduate of Boise State, and live in Idaho, and frankly I didn't think they had a prayer on this one.

Today, I eat crow.

As always, I wonder what football has to do with eduction, but I know I am uninformed.

We are proud of our local upstart University, but those of us who have been here a long time, remember when people thought the capital of Idaho was Cleveland. Obscurity had it's advantages.

JUST AWESOME !!!!

We are Buckeye fans all the way; and rooted for Boise St. That game was a kill....they deserve to be in there with the best. And the marriage proposal at the end of the game...I thought Tracy was going to freak!!
What a great story for the grand-kids !!!

Speaking of bad for Sooner fans, I came back to work today after four days off and a private jet for one of the sooner fans was ran into pretty hard by a golf cart last night so my company chartered another jet one of our lear jets and it canceled because of mechancal problems. I bet those fans just want to get home.

She was his girl friend. It was so noisy she said she couldn't hear. After a bit for it to sink she answered yes. He was afraid the camera would cut away if she didn't hurry. Later he dug out the ring. It was the wrong size and she wore it today in Boise on her pinky finger.

To show that I am also a great romantic, I bought my wife of 50 years a dollar box of chocolates today.
