:applause:
If you check the sides on all plywood and look for voids you should see the difference. If not---buyer beware.

Also look at the number of plies and what the inner ones are made of.

SWEET!

You used 2 by 4 framing for that, right?

And you didn't bolt it down yet, that you want to cover the underside with your waterproofing (like the asphalt roofing emulsion) and then stick in your insulation. Which is easier to do before it's bolted to the frame.

Man, I wish MINE looked that clean and perfectly square at the beginning of the "game!"

I recall buying some plywood from home depot that was $29 a sheet. They had it on an endcap. It was a special purchase. It was a maple plywood I believe, but it looked just like the birch that was on the regular shelf for quite a bit more.

I actually like the maple plywood better, it's much harder to accidently sand the veneer off.

Thanks.
I put the first coat of emulsion on today.
I have a asphalt patcher at work and i used that stuff.
Its gooey and sets up good.
Going to insulate this week.
Im thinking of covering the ins. with some wire mesh to help keep it from chipping off.

I don't think chipping is a big issue.

Are you going to go foil out? That's how I did it, to reflect heat away from the floor. Maybe foil out helps a little more in this respect, but I haven't heard anyone say that this is a real problem, even guys who put thousands of miles in a year.

Well, the insl. im using doesnt have the foil backing.
Its some stuff my dad had left over from his house he had built.
I think i have enough to do the floor.
Its 1.5 inches thick so it should work pretty good
