UFO - O'Hare???

Postby alaska teardrop » Tue Jan 02, 2007 12:01 am

In the sky! A bird? A plane? A ... UFO?
A flying saucerlike object hovered low over O'Hare International Airport for several minutes before bolting through thick clouds with such intense energy that it left an eerie hole in overcast skies.

Try this:

I think the best comment in the article is this:

"To fly 7 million light years to O'Hare and then have to turn around and go home because your gate was occupied is simply unacceptable," said O'Hare controller and union official Craig Burzych.

They can't be all that intelligent otherwise they wouldn't of went too O'hare!!

It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.

Okay--I'll start the hijack:

I believe in aliens, but I don't believe any have ever come here, and that all of the sightings aren't significant.

I think they're out there, but they're either way too far away to make it here...aren't advanced in space travel at all...or it's the kind of a lifeform that could care LESS about traveling to other planets.

Like, maybe they're just really lazy and unadventurous, but they've nonetheless cured every disease known to their planets AEONS ago. (And yeah, I had to look in the dictionary to learn how to spell "aeon.")

But if we find them, if they actually land and present themselves...

Does that blow the lid off the whole religion thing? Or are there people out there right now going over the bible with a finetooth comb to find passages that can be reinterprated to indicate that there WAS evidence of other planets in there all along!?

Ohhh--I hope they get here already so I can witness all of this. I'm sure Jerry Falwell will be a RIOT!
Here we go again!

And I'll run with it.

It will certainly put religion to the test. It will also put a whole new twist on the pyramids and Easter Island and the whole Mayan thing (aren't they the ones that disappeared?). Think maybe they just went home?

The probing really doesn't hurt. They have small hands and they put you to sleep first. :phew:

It's INCREDIBLE how that movie still holds up, even after seeing it a hundred times.

First, you have to define what you mean as "alien". Space ships and little green/grey men/women, .............. I don't think so. Microbes, germs, ...maybe.
