Beaver's Bend is confirmed for March 30- April 1, 2007

Postby Coca Cola Teardrop » Tue Jan 02, 2007 3:57 pm

Ok everyone, The 2nd annual Beaver's Bend Gathering is confirmed.

March 30 - April 1st, 2007.......

I made reservations for 25 sites today (Jan 2, 2007). So far we have 8 sites left as of 1-10-07.

Sites are $18.00 per night with a deposite for the first night required.
Each site is allowed 1 tent at $8.00 more per night.
Last year we had several in tents. If you plan to attend but will be in a tent please let me know so I can make a note of it. We won't pay for the tent sites untill Saturday when we take care of the balance for Saturday night.

I have untill January 16 to collect deposites and call and pay for them. So if you are planning to attend PM me and I will give you my mailing address to send the deposite.

I sure hope we fill all of the sites......

Linda

Oops....................I wish I could fix the title of the thread. Maybe Mike can fix for me.

Julie, thanks for noticing what I did. It should say March 30 - April 1.

My fingers are getting ahead of my brain...

haha ... I understand !!!

For those that need to know... .Beavers Bend State Park is near Broken Bow, Oklahoma in the far southeast corner of the state. We had a really nice spot near the Kaw River (?) last year. Good bath houses, not too modern and had access to the pavilion.

I wanna be just like Jack :D We want to come, but can't commit yet. It's a loooooong drive again for us (8 hours each way and will require a day off from work for Joyce), so we will wait until we see a long term weather forcast. Hope you understand, Linda.

Well, Dave & Cindy and the Bluebonnet are listed as coming so I think that means there is a 60-70 % chance of rain ......

Steve H. We will plan on paying the deposite on a few sites if there are any left over. We can't obligate to too many as College tuition, property tax and auto insurance deductable (daughter had wreck in my truck Christmas morning) have all hit us hard this month. If all sites fill we can hope for some last minute cancellations from other rv's.
Would love to have you join us. I know how it is with the long drive.

Earl, right now we only have to worry with Angelina College. SFA won't be too far down the road.....
I worked in Nacogdoches for almost 3 years and drove right through the SFA campus twice a day. Glad to be back working in Lufkin
Hope you can make it

Julie and Scott,

We'll do our best to not bring rain.
We did have a few campouts without it. The rain left before we got to the LCG and never came back. Cindy and I have talked about finding an outlet for panchos in bulk, maybe in the color blue.

Maybe 2007 will be drier but not too dry that we can't have those famous WarPony campfires!!!

PS.... cindy, I'll bring wine this year !
